Animas

Crossland Films is now in development for Animas, the first feature project by filmmaker Larry Gonzalez. Set in a mythical post industrial Caribbean town, the story focuses on Javier Corso, an artist and spiritual medium who returns to his childhood town after the sudden death of his mother. As he digs deeper into the disturbing events of his childhood and the spiritual forces that surround them, he is also compelled to confront the emotional and corporeal ghosts from his past. Animas is a haunting tale that explores the psychological effects of guilt and a meditation on the spiritual connection between human beings.
